Mike, Kerry and everybody--

I would need $215.00 from the Grotto to order ($40 of that is for shirts ordered but not paid for yet), then another $100.79 plus shipping costs when they're done. (The total for 50 is $575.79 plus shipping).

The decision last meeting was the remaining shirts would be split as follows: 2 medium, 8 large, the rest extra large.

Since I won't be at the meeting, Kerry, let me know what size, pay the grotto, and Barry can send me a check for $215. When I get it I will deposit the checks and cash and write a check to Nick Nicolitz. Before he prints shirts he will send me a final of the design and I will email it around.

Does this work for everybody? Any other suggestions? Jacqui

ps. I might be out of jury duty as it was postponed until October 14 and I have already bought a (non-refundable) ticket to see my sister and brother at my mother's Oct. 20-28. Surely US District Court cannot force me to lose a $320 airplane ticket because it changed its mind??? Ohhh, the horror!

Yes, by all means let the club front the rest of the money. Split the order couple of med, large and ex large. I've already let Jacqui know that I would be willing to buy another shirt to make sufficient orders. Maybe we could donate a shirt or 2 for cave related auction if needed.

I will not be able to attend the meeting Tuesday, work once again is interferring with entertainment.

This will be the last meeting before TCR. At the moment it is questionable whether or not I will be there. I will have to take vacation to attend so we will see.

I attended a cross country meet Saturday at San Angelo State School recreation area in Carlsbad, Tx. This is a fairly nice area w/ trees, flat grassy area, very large pavilion and the Concho River is nearby. This might be a good area to host something sometime if needed. Do not know what it would cost but could find out.

  Kerry

    Kerry,
Can't the club treasury spot the remaining amount?

    Bill,
I don't know what to tell you (or anybody else...). I was hoping to have ordered them by now. Karen bought a pickup and said she can't send her money until next month, and I guess Lori's email is down. Maybe someone can call her and ask if she (and/or Landa) wants a shirt or two and I haven't heard from Walter.

We still have time as Nick has a two-week turn around once he's received the order & the 70%.

I was called for federal jury duty for my district and may not be able to do much of anything after the 15th of September as court is in San Angelo. I hope I'm unsuitable--maybe I'm too smart or too well-educated or too opinionated or something. But it could be pretty interesting.

I hate missing a meeting but I wouldn't be able to leave here until 4:00 and I work Wednesday am, too. Hi to everybody. Jacqui

Looks like we won't have our t-shirts for TCR then......
