[PBSS] PBSS Christmas Party and Dinner

Greetings,
This is just a notice to let everyone know that the December 2007 meeting will be this Saturday December 15th, 2007 at the PBSS annual Christmas Party and Dinner instead of the second Tuesday as it has always been.
If I did my math right, this will be the 288th meeting of the PBSS since the Grotto was formed in September 1983. This will (Thanks to Kel) be my last meeting as President of the PBSS for this year. Old decrepit Officers will be kicked out and young new Officers will be welcomed in at the party/meeting. The Christmas Party & meeting  will be at Caverns of Sonora who has agreed to graciously host this event. We certainly want to remember to tell them thanks. This is as you can read the comments below is going to be a catfish dinner with all the fixings....As Donna Says "Everybody bring their own plates and drinks". Deserts too! Unfortunately I won't be able to be there until Saturday afternoon sometime. :(   I will also have to leave after the party is over!!! Work calls and I am on a 24/7 schedule till the end of the year. I think that is about it... If anyone has anything else to add, please send it to the PBSS mailing list so everyone can benefit from it. I am looking forward to a good time with good friends.

Everything is on track.  Barry and I are cooking
catfish and bringing all the fixings.  Need desserts
and snacks.  Everybody bring their own plates and
drinks.  Thought we would eat about 5:00 or at least
before dark if weather is nice if not then we will eat
inside and it may be a little later since there may be
a late tour.

Are we using our own plates & silverware, etc? YES AND DRINKS! We'll want to remind people of that (and beverages). Barry & Donna, besides desserts, if you need anything let us know, okay? Jacqui

I'm curious if anyone's planning to come to Sonora Friday evening? YES, WALTER. 

Also, I don't remember discussing utensils and plates and all that stuff for 
the dinner--are we all just bringing our own? YES Jacqui 

I am planning on coming down Friday night. Yes standard operating procedure, 
bring your own utensils. I hope everyone does!

I don't know how many will (if any) will come down Fri. night.  But, we have camping available for that night.  Since we won't go into the cave until Sat. night, (right?) YES there won't be a whole lot to do until we start the party.

But, I would say if we began supper around 6 pm (or 5:00 PM as Donna says) and then went into the cave at 7:30 or 8, it might work.  I haven't checked the long range weather forecast yet.  That might make a difference. With our luck it will be crappy!
