[NMCAVER] Denver sinkhole - not really cave related

Some of you  have heard the news this morning about the "monster" sinkhole that closed I-25 yesterday afternoon.  It was caused by a water main break that flushed out fill under the south-bound lane.  A 40-ft dia collapse feature, 16 feet deep, formed as more than 2 million gallons of water escaped.
