at the spectacular beauty of the Vercors region in southern France which
will be home to the 4th European Speleological Congress on 23 -30 August
2008. Like the 15th International Congress of Speleology that will happen in
Texas next year, the ESC only happens every fours year and is an incredible
opportunity to learn about and do some amazing caving. Some of the world's
most fantastic caves are in and near Vercors. If you've ever had a desire to
go to France, and especially caving in France, it will be long time before
you'll see another opportunity like this. Go!
