Recording Secretary Needed, NSS Board of Governors

 

Do you have the desire to play an important role in NSS management? Here's your opportunity. After 29 years, I am retiring as Recording Secretary to the Board at the end of the 2008 NSS Convention Board meetings.  

 

The minutes of the NSS Board of Governors meetings are official, critical records of the issues considered and actions taken by the Board.  Applicants must be able to write well, keep accurate notes, have a working knowledge of Robert's Rules of Order, and be able to produce accurate, clearly stated and formatted minutes of each meeting in a timely way.  The Recording Secretary needs to attend the fall and spring Board meetings as well as the meetings on Mondays and Fridays during NSS Conventions.
