Due to a pending relocation I have decided to sell my really fine travel
trailer. It is a 2002 Komfort. The Blue Book is in excess of $17,000 for
average retail and this trailer is above average. It has one powered
slide-out which really opens up the interior. In addition to the stock
equipment I retrofitted two 6-volt deep discharge industrial batteries,
a solar panel and digital charge controllers. Since adding the solar
equipment I have never needed supplemental power (though you cannot run
the microwave or air conditioner when on battery power only).

Most of the above is factored into the Blue Book value, however it also
has a full size folding stepladder (locked bumper mount), 2-bike rack,
all interior incandescent lights were replaced with more efficient
fluorescent fixtures and, most importantly, it has way below average
mileage plus a catalytic heater so you don't have to use battery power
to heat the place.

The unit has 9,973 miles of road use (I keep track). There is no damage
and everything works. There is no significant wear of interior
furnishings. The cosmetic striping on the exterior does shows the
effects of the desert sun. During our Christmas trip we found the
bathroom sink basin had somehow developed a crack (we must have dropped
something in it, there's no other explanation) and I am in the process
of replacing that. The trailer would be sold with the load equalizing
hitch and sway bar, plus accessory equipment/tools directly related to
the trailer....everything for a turnkey operation except the brake
controller that is mounted in the truck. It anyone wants further specs
or photos, I will send them.

I am asking $17,000. It's a fair price and I think any number of cavers
who have been in the trailer would speak well of its condition. I would
even be willing to deliver it, up to 500 or so miles.Get it while you
can. Thanks.
