	It seems odd, just after citing Mike Spilde's devastating critique 
of the idea, that the writer then says "so, perhaps the story isn't so 
strange after all"!  If he means the connection story he has showcased up 
until then, it's stranger than ever in the light of the facts.  I can only 
suppose he may have ambiguously changed reference to Spilde's version.
