"Caves & Karst of Southeastern New Mexico" is a new book which should be of
interest to most New Mexico cavers.  Edited by Lewis Land and others, it
includes the caves of the Guadalupe Mountains, McKittrick Hill, and the
adjacent Gypsum Plain.

This book contains 22 full-length papers and 18 short papers on the geology,
cave features, speleogenesis, evaporite karst, geophysics, hydrology, and
paleontology of caves in the region.  Also included are 8 geology field trip
descriptive road logs, and a trail guide to the geology of the Main Corridor
and the Big Room in Carlsbad Cavern.  Several papers are authored by well
known New Mexico cavers, including Carol Hill, Victor Polyak, Louise Hose,
