[Nmcaver] 2006 SWR Winter Technical : Reminder

Greetings!
The 2006 SWR Winter Technical will be held this Saturday (December 2, 2006)
at New Mexico Tech in Socorro, NM. The event will be held in the Mineral
Science and Engineering Complex (MSEC 101 & 103) with registration
beginning at 8:00 AM. Twenty one talks are scheduled for the day,
including talks on cave exploration, conservation, management and science.
In the evening, the New Mexico Tech Student Grotto will be hosting a dinner
banquet with a keynote address from Alexander Klimchouk entitled "Arabika
Massif and Krubera Cave, Western Caucasus:Why the deepest cave in the world
is there?". Tickets for this event will be sold until 10:00 AM on the
morning of December 2.
Additional information on the 2006 SWR Winter Tech can be found on the New
Mexico Tech Student Grotto website (www.nmt.edu/~nmtcaver), including a
complete listing of scheduled talks and times, as well as links to maps and
local attractions within the Socorro area. Signs will be posted late
Friday afternoon at both freeway exits (147 and 150) and within Socorro,
providing the direction to MSEC on the New Mexico Tech campus. We hope to
see you in Socorro on December 2.
