Larry and others,
I once hiked from Guadalupe Peak out the cliff edge of El Capitan... I
seemed to remember it being about 2 miles and there was not a well defined
trail if any. I am not sure if anyone saw me (us), but no one ever said
anything about it. I also hiked up there to the peak in 1991 and again in
2001 and carried lots of radio gear and antennas. Tony Grieco saw the
antenna strapped to out back packs said we had the electrical equivalent of
a" Kick Me" sign on. Both radio trips were with the NPS blessings and
approvals. I also remember meeting John Lujan one more than one occasion.
