I have heard over the years rumors that on the rare occasion an old closed or banded mine could be purchased and converted to underground housing. I have seen one or two such conversions and yet have no real links or direction as to where to find the resource to make such a purchase. I was wondering, with all the information that must pass through your hands, could you guide me to where I might find such information. Do you need to have me narrow down to a specific state?
