[Nmcaver] Update Brian's Memorial - Important!

All,

Some information from the family:

A memorial tomorrow is just too soon for the family.  They will have a 
memorial the following Saturday July 29th at 1 PM.  At this point they 
are expecting roughly 30 people not including cavers. Rose will take 
care of contacting the family and giving them details.  John is to let 
the caving community know. It will be held at Liz Galbraith's house. 
Rough directions are E on I-40 to the Tijeras/Cedar Crest exit. Go right 
at the on ramp, get in the middle lane and go straight through the stop 
light. This is 337.  Go south about 9 miles. Turn right on Kuhn rd. At 
this turn is a small store (morning star). Go 0.9 miles, turn right onto 
Nightingale Ln. The house is on the NE corner of Kuhn and Nightingale 
#105.  If you have photo's or slides you are strongly encouraged to 
bring them.  A prayer service is also being planned for Monday.  Details 
to follow when available.

Due to the substantial number of people who have contacted us expressing 
schedule conflicts with the July 29th date (including myself & Blake) we 
intend to have a second caver and friends memorial sometime later in 
August.  We have to discuss things further with Liz & Rose to pin down 
the details and work around convention.  We will keep everyone posted as 
we learn more.

Some items the family wants me to mention:

Please do NOT send flowers.  If you wish to give something the family 
asks that you make a contribution to the NSS or to KNME (the local 
public TV station and a big favorite of Brians!) in his name.

Cards and notes can be mailed to their P.O. Box.  Please do NOT send 
anything to the house directly.
