Hi, Linda

What a shock to hear about Brian's sudden and unexpected death.  I would 
have expected one of the Sandia Grotto old-timers to go someday, but 
Brian was so young compared to us.  We have all treasured memories of 
caving with Brian and seeing his beautiful cave photographs and note 
cards.

You and Brian both visited me in the hospital last year when I had open 
heart surgery.  Brian told me at the time that he had a heart condition.

Maybe we can hold a wake for Brian soon in order to honor more of the 
good memories that we have of him.   He will be missed.
