Nostalgia – Tortuga I and Tortuga II

Nostalgia is an mixed bag.  For those of you that remember C. Thumb, Sandy, Tortuga I and Tortuga II, and the Original Grode Hollow Sign that Loren Bolenger painted in Springfield, MO, after the night of TR Evan's Green Lab-O devastation of the Roudy Party (remember Loren's Body Painting?? -- using nubile bodies as brushes to paint his truck?)  Well, I stumbled across a color-deviated slide of Tortuga I and Tortuga II a while later, leading the parade in Lovell, WYO – July 1969.  The Original Grode Hollow sign is proudly displayed atop Tortuga I by cavers who you may be hard pressed to identify.  They obviously identified with the Grode Hollow ethic.  Sandy is driving Tortuga I; Ken Laidlaw, driving what will later become Tortuga II.
